I love love love my new Kipling Superwork bag! It’s been absolutely perfect in the last week or so as I’ve now started my new chapter of working in London. I bring my laptop home in the evenings so I need a bag that can take a relatively big laptop, as well as all the other bits I always carry around in my handbag…
The Kipling Superwork has so many compartments, but unlike many other bags with loads of compartments, they’re actually all useful and have a function for all my stuff. The separate laptop compartment in the main body of the bag has a padded wall towards the rest of the main part of the bag, and in the rest of that space there are small pockets on the side of the middle space. I use this for lunch boxes, cardigan, and any other slightly bigger things I bring with me. Then the Superwork also has two other main compartments on each side of the middle zipped compartment. The back one has a zipper is perfect for papers, folders, and other documents, and the front one has a zipper and a flap. This front compartment has a phone pocket, a small zipped pocket and is perfect for keys, phone, wallet, lip gloss, and all other small things that need to be accessible. The Kipling Superwork has a long adjustable strap that you can use cross body and also really useful handles on both sides so it can be carried as a brief case or over your shoulder. Of course it also has the iconic little Kipling monkey in a key ring at the front of the bag.
It very much look like autumn in these pictures, but it’s still really warm outside. One of my favourite pieces in my wardrobe as of late is this black pinafore dress from Monki. I’ve been wearing it a lot lately, because what’s so great about it is that it is really versatile. Depending on what you wear underneath and how you style it, it can work for so many different occasions. In these pictures I’m wearing it with a white t-shirt from H&M Divided and my new favourite trainers: the white Adidas Original Superstars with black stripes. I love this look for work as it works really well with the smart-casual dress code we have.
I can highly recommend the Kipling Superwork if you’re looking for a bag that will actually work for you, without compromising on style. I’ve got the Kipling Superwork in ‘Craft Black’, but it is also available in many other colours and slightly different styles. So have a look on their website here if you fancy getting one yourself!
