A couple of weeks ago I got the opportunity to do a collaboration video with the online watch retailer Page and Cooper. I’ve been working with Page and Cooper for a few years now through the agency I work for (Zeal) but for this video I got involved from a fashion blogger point of view – getting to create and style some looks for some of the amazing watches Page and Cooper sell.
I picked out a few of my favourite watches from Page and Cooper’s website for this video from a few of the brands they sell, including Laco, MATWatches, Anonimo, Marathon watches, and DuBois et Fils. Then I created three different looks to show how these watches can be styles with the latest female fashion. What I really like about Page and Cooper (apart from their amazing collection of watches) is the fact that they don’t categorise their watches according to gender. I think all of the watches they sell can be used by anyone, it’s all down to how you style them and use them to work for your personal style.
Page and Cooper is not your usual online watch retailer. The brands they feature on their site are picked because of the quality and craftsmanship and because of their back story. The service and attention you get when you buy a watch from Page and Cooper is as outstanding as the quality of the watches themselves.
I was given free range to pick out the watches that I really like and create a look to go with them. This is the first styling video I’ve been part of, but I’m hoping it’s the first of many. I can’t say I wasn’t nervous being filmed though! I’ve always wanted to branch into doing vlogs as well but what’s been holding me back (apart from the lack of video editing skills) is how nervous I get and how much I worry about what I will sound like. With English being my second language to Swedish, I become more aware of my voice when being recorded which can lead to overthinking what I say. With that in mind I’m really happy with the result and I hope you’ll like it too.
I had such a great day filming with the Page and Cooper team. A massive thanks to Jonathan Bordell who made this video happen, and a big thanks to Josh as well who was so professional and calm during the filming which really helped me though the first video I’ve done of this kind.
I hope you like the video! Give it a like and a share if so, and I would love to hear what you thought about it in the comments below or on Twitter!
